SPORTS SIGN-UPS
Fall sign-ups will be held at Libertytown Park on Saturday(s) July 18th and 25th
between 10:00am-2:00pm. If you have any questions please call Joe Ganley at 301
898-7354.
"HEADS-UP"
The LRC winter sport sign up dates are September 15th, 17th and the 22nd. They
will be held in the Liberty Elementary school cafeteria from 6:00-8:00pm.

LRC
MEETINGS
LRC meetings are held at 7:00p.m. the first Thursday of each month.
The meetings are held on the second floor of St. Peter’s
Church Thrift Shop in Libertytown. Use the stairway in back of
the Thrift Shop to access the second floor. Everyone is invited
to attend these meetings to help establish programs and guidelines
for the youth in our community. Your help is needed and appreciated.

LRC COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIPS
Each year LRC gives two $1000.00 scholarships to graduates,
one young man and young woman. Winners are selected by an independent
committee compiled of FCPS teachers .

LRC’s 12 U girls softball team went undefeated in the
regular season and 4 wins and 2 losses in the post season winning the championship
under the lights at Libertytown Park.

JUNIOR GIRL SCOUTS
Libertytown’s Junior Girl Scout Troop 81498 teamed up with LRC for this
years’ Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Thank you to the girls and the parents
who helped out that blustery day. It was a big success.
