MEETINGS
If you are interested in learning more about LRC, please attend a meeting! ALL ARE WELCOME!!
Meetings are held on the 2nd floor of the St. Peter's Church Thrift Shop in Libertytown at 7PM. Stairs and parking are located in the back. Consider helping us establish programs and guidelines for our youth. We hope to see you there!

I am pleased to introduce myself as the new President of the LRC and the new officers - Vice President Mike McFarland, Treasurer Rochelle McFarland, Recording Secretary Megan Hardesty, and Corresponding Secretary Jen Liberto. We are excited for this opportunity to serve the Libertytown community and foster an environment in which our children can enjoy, grow and excel in sports activities.
In the coming months, we will be introducing some small changes, most notably, establishing electronic communication as another mechanism for contacting each of you to provide information. To do so, we have created a new electronic mailbox, LibertytownRecCouncil@gmail.com. Please feel free to contact us with any questions, comments, suggestions, or concerns and we'll do our best to respond as quickly as we can.
Finally, and most importantly, on behalf of the new officers of the LRC, we would like to recognize the departing officers and appointees - Courtney Nash, Brenda Bruning, Cathy Naill, and Lou Ann Nash as well as those who continue to serve a vital role within the LRC, including Athletic Director Jim Stockman and Soccer Commissioner Joe Ganley. Their outstanding service, tireless efforts, and countless hours spent establishing and managing an excellent sports program for our children is greatly appreciated. Please join us in thanking them for their many contributions and dedication to our community.

UNIFIED TEAM COLORS AND LOGO
Starting with the upcoming spring season, we will be introducing a new color scheme and common team name to be used by all sports teams. Uniforms will contain a red/black/white combination. All of our LRC teams will be the LIBERTYTOWN LANCERS. The use of common color schemes and team names will create a consistent and unified branding for Libertytown sports teams and will reduce uniform costs. Look for the new uniforms this spring.

Only a few more chilly months until the spring sports season will be upon us. The 2012 Spring Registration will be held at the Liberty Elementary School on the following dates, between the hours of 6-8 PM:

If the January 30th date is snowed out,
we will have an additional registration

Please Note: The fees listed above do not include the price of baseball pants. If pants are needed, there will be an additional charge of $9.50 for youth sizes, and $13.00 for adult sizes. A $10.00 late fee will be assessed after the last scheduled day of registration.
