OLD
BUSINESS
Courtney reported that he still had not heard anything regarding
the building at the school and placed a call to find out why. The
secretary at FCPS promised that she would send the plans to him
immediately.
Courtney presented a new logo for LRC. Brenda made a motion to approve
the current design and Joe second. Motion passed. Joe will be sponsoring
$250 for the shirts—discussion followed regarding the color
of the logo and shirts, the type of shirts, who will get them, the
sizes we need. Joe made a motion that we have 50/50 blend shirts,
the color of ash with a forest green logo made. The motion further
includes that we get sizes to fit the officers, and get sizes to
be distributed to the primary coaches for the fall sport season.
Jim second. Motion passed.
Courtney handed Jim various receipts for the concession stand.
Courtney gave Jim the grant check.
Pictures have been taken and handed out to the teams.
Courtney announced the scholarship recipients at the Linganore Senior

Bruning. Courtney read a thank you note from Daniel.
NEW
BUSINESS
The end-of-season trophy presentation will not be held this year.
Baseball/softball trophies will be given to coaches and they can
give them out to their teams. Jim will look into having the names
of the players put on the trophies for next year.
Courtney reported that he received a phone call at home on May 28
from someone who said that the food in the freezer at the park had
thawed out. Courtney went up the next day and said that the freezer
worked fine as well as the refrigerator. They threw away the food
and bought all new food and made up a new batch of the chili. It
was all restocked before the next game.
There will be no July meeting. Next meeting August 7.
