CODE OF CONDUCT
for Coaches, Players and Parents

I understand that my attitude and behavior are central to the success of the sports season. Therefore, for the good of this activity, as well as for my fellow players and myself, I agree to abide by the following code of conduct:

• I will be respectful of coaches, assistant coaches, teammates, opposing coaches, opposing
• teammates and spectators.
• I will not use foul language during games andlor practice.
• I will get to practice and games on time and have proper attire.
• I will display good sportsmanship always.
• I will remember that the goal of the game is to have fun and to improve skills.
• I will refrain from arguing with umpires or referees about calls or decisions unless
• I am doing so in the capacity of coach.
• I will show respect for the officials. Good sportsmanship implies the willingness to accept and abide
• by the decisions of the officials.
• I will refrain from being disrespectful to the coach by "overcoaching" from the stands. Instead, I will
• cheer with positive reinforcement.
